Travers & Travers is a family law firm serving the community of Katy and surrounding areas for almost 30 years. The firm was initially founded by Sherrie Travers and Mack Travers and then their daughters joined as associate attorneys in the practice. As we often say, “We are a family of family lawyers.”

Sherrie Haussner Travers has been practicing family law since 1990. She is an experienced attorney who handles all family law matters. Sherrie is a certified mediator, and a collaborative law attorney. Sherrie is AV Preeminent peer review rated * through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating. Sherrie is board-certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, a mark of excellence shared with less than 1 percent of all attorneys in Texas. Board certification means an attorney has substantial, relevant experience in a select field of law as well as demonstrated, and tested, special competence in that area of law.

Mack Travers is a seasoned family law attorney who primarily focuses on trials and appeals of cases involving complex property division, contentious custody issues, or military divorces. Prior to forming Travers & Travers, Mack gained vast litigation experience working with insurance defense firms. Mack is a strong negotiator with an undergraduate degree in industrial relations. Mack is AV Preeminent peer review rated * through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating.

Allison Travers Hamilton is a skilled family law litigator and has more than 15 years of legal experience handling appellate matters, custody cases, complex property cases, spousal support cases, modification and enforcement of prior orders, grandparents’ rights, and as an amicus attorney. Allison advocates for her clients and for the best interests of children as evidenced by the numerous favorable decisions for her clients. Allison is also a certified mediator.

Annilee Travers Reed is an experienced family law attorney who zealously advocates for her clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, visitation, paternity, fathers’ rights, enforcement and modification of prior orders, termination of parental rights, and complex mediation issues. Annilee has an engineering background and is proficient in analyzing complex property division issues as well as drafting marital property agreements, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.
